As a graduate in Product Quality (within our wider General Merchandise function), you will be working with an integral team for Kmart and Target that is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and safety of our amazing household products. 

This a rare and exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded and industry-leading Product Quality team which will give the successful graduate a real step up into a career that has a huge impact! 

About the program

Commencing in February 2025, our 18-month program consists of several rotations within the Product Quality function around areas such as Electrical, Toys & Nursery and Beauty.

Every day is varied and may include:

• Undertaking product investigations, technical assessments and providing solutions to resolve quality issues and proactively improve our product ranges
• Identifying and supporting innovation in terms of new products, ideas and improvements
• Providing high level technical advice and expertise to optimize an innovative, significant and growing Anko brand strategy
• Partnering with our Merchandise teams to develop our awesome beauty products

During the program, you will take part in practical and meaningful work that has a huge impact on our customers and will allow you to grow your career through a personalized learning program. You’ll be fully supported along this journey and work alongside and learn from experts in the industry. 

About you

We’re looking for graduates to join the team who are driven, curious and bring a continuous improvement mindset! Ideally, you will have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or similar) or within Science & Technology. 

To be successful as a Product Quality graduate, you’ll also need to be detail-focused, enjoy problem solving, have an analytical mindset and have exceptional collaboration and communication skills. Curiosity is key in this role and we’re looking for a graduate who loves to learn!

To be eligible for our 2025 program you’ll:

• Have either Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent residency (at the time of submitting this application)
• Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the past 3 years (i.e. 2022, 2023 or 2024) or are due to complete your degree by the end of January 2025
• Be able to commence full time employment in Melbourne in February 2025
