Human Resources Administrator - Immediate Start

Aberstone Community Services provides vital support and services to people living with disabilities in the community. We are currently seeking applications for a Human Resources Administrator to join our Balcatta Head Office supporting our organisation across the wider Perth region.

This is an opportunity for exposure to the complete business operation and the end to end staff management of a large and growing organisation operating from three Perth offices. Establish your role and develop your career as an HR professional with this opportunity.

Duties will include:

  • Administration of the complete employee lifecycle
  • Coordinate recruitment processes including advertising roles, screening applications, conducting interviews, liaising with managers and agencies, checking references, making offers, and tracking all recruitment activities
  • Managing the onboarding and induction process for all new staff
  • Take ownership of all HR administration including creating contracts, letters and job descriptions, updating organisation charts, maintaining files and systems
  • Implementing and coordinating performance, development and succession activities across all business areas
  • Assist with coordinating processes such as annual pay reviews, bonus and benefits reviews
  • Coordinating employee engagement surveys across all business areas, and delivering actions
  • Assist in updating policies and procedures
  • Keeping up to date with knowledge of employment conditions under the SCHADS Award
  • Support preparation of training material and procedures documents
  • Participate in HR and payroll related projects as required
  • Maintaining internal and external training databases 
  • Monitoring staff qualifications and competencies to ensure continual compliance within job roles
  • Scheduling necessary training courses, medical checks, background checks for all employees
  • Maintaining employee records via our CareMaster CMS system

  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Enthusiastic and engaging with people;
  • Understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality issues;
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team;
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate;
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia;
