Assistant Accountant - Immediate Start

About the role

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building applications using .NET technologies with a key focus on integration. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement an integration hub/façade for seamless integration with 3rd party system. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

You will be working within one of our cross-function feature-based teams on building high-quality products, focusing on automation and integration across practice management software and insurance products.

Key requirements for the role are

  • Strong backend development skills and experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET
  • Experience building APIs and RESTful WebServices
  • Experience with Microservices
  • Knack for writing clean, secure, readable, and easily maintainable code


  • Translate requirements/storyboards and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, secure and reliable code
  • Integrate with 3rd party systems and data storage solutions
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Help establish and uphold code standards and best practices

About you

This position requires someone who has experience at a senior level with the key requirements for this role. Other key requirements of this position include:

  • Strong knowledge of .NET and .NET Core web framework
  • Proficient in C# and ASP.NET, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
  • Familiarity with the framework like Mono
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Skill for writing common reusable libraries
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with AWS cloud tools and technologies
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles
  • Experience with popular web application frameworks like Angular, including HTML5 & CSS
  • Familiarity with Windows Presentation Framework
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
  • Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Full rights to work in Australia
  • (citizen or permanent resident)
