As part of our commitment to building a diverse workforce, some of the positions within the 2020 Graduate Program are designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and People with Disability.
The ACTPS Graduate Program offers three distinct application opportunities.
Inclusion candidates will have access to the support of our dedicated Inclusion Employment Team throughout the Graduate Program. This team provides support regarding any reasonable adjustments required and pastoral care. To be considered, identify in the appropriate section when submitting your application. You will be contacted by a member of the inclusion team upon reaching the assessment centre stage of the process.
The ACTPS also runs a number of traineeships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and People with a Disability. More information on these programs can be found on the ACTPS Inclusion page or by emailing: [email protected].
“The ACTPS was a very enriching experience. I have been supported along the way by both the Inclusion Team and my colleagues; they’ve always been there to help me grow, tackle any difficulties I may face and ultimately achieve my best” – Graduate, Community Services Directorate 2016
Note: Applicants may be required to provide proof of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status and/or Disability as part of the recruitment process.
