"The Public Markets graduate program has provided with me an unparalleled introduction to the asset management industry. It’s presented me with multiple opportunities to gain exposure to a variety of asset classes such as equities, currencies and fixed income through a myriad of investment strategies and methodologies. In each rotation, the teams have provided me with significant responsibility which has supported my swift progression up the learning curve and allowed me to add material value to their investment processes. I’ve had incredible opportunities to attend investment conferences and meet with leading industry analysts as well the top executives of some of Australia’s largest listed companies. Alongside the development of technical skills, the graduate program also offers numerous opportunities to enhance soft skills with access to senior business leaders who take an active interest in your personal & professional development. Being paired up with a buddy as well as working with people who are extremely generous with their time has all helped in settling into a new firm and industry. This support network made me feel comfortable to ask any questions I had and I soon realised that asking questions is the best way to learn in this industry which is heavily built around experience in financial markets."
