2023 Finance Graduate Program

Ready to kick start your career? ANZ has awesome Graduate Programs. If you're ready to learn, we're ready to show you the way. Our 24 month rotational programs are designed to provide you with critical experiences and skills to successfully build your career after which, you will move into a permanent role within the bank and contribute towards ANZs continuing success. Our graduates will also be provided extensive exposure to supportive coaching, peer-to-peer learning, mentoring, training, networking, and sponsorship from senior leaders.

Each of our key business areas in Australia and New Zealand has programs offer multiple rotations including our Finance Division.

About our Finance Division

Our purpose in Finance is to drive ANZ’s financial performance by shaping strategy, allocating resources, and ensuring decisions are based on facts. To ensure we achieve our strategy, our teams in Finance work closely with ANZ’s core businesses. 

As a Finance Grad you will:

  • Drive business performance by provide strategic insight and proactive financial analysis and advice to the businesses they support
  • Ensuring the provision of accurate and timely financial information to a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Building for tomorrow, achieve value for the Finance and the bank by driving innovation, business change, and process improvement.

About the Finance Program

As a Finance Graduate you can gain exposure to the following departments: Financial Control, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Systems, Data and Innovation, Business Partnering, Group Tax, Finance Strategy and Execution, Group Treasury, Investor Relations, Mergers and Acquisitions, Group Property and Group Procurement. With so many options, you will get to experience a variety of roles that will utilise your capabilities and push you out of your comfort zone.

  • You don’t need an accounting, banking or finance background to join Finance – the nature of our work is always changing, we need people who work well collaboratively, are strong communicators, are curious and can deliver at pace. 
  • You can expect to face challenges, make mistakes, and keep an open mind to continuous learning and personal improvement.
