It’s important to us that there are no barriers to our people being able to excel in the work they do.
As part of this, we’re committed to meeting the needs of people with a disability and increasing accessibility to information, services and the workplace. Ways we are working towards this goal include ensuring we’re following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, as well as the creation of workspaces that are compliant with the Universal Design Principle for physical accessibility. We regularly seek specialist knowledge and advice from Job Access to improve the experience for those with a physical disability.
At the Audit Office, it’s our goal that all staff with a disability feel included at all times. We are working with partner organisations to identify more employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
