To assist with coordination and control of our reporting requirements in a complete, accurate and timely manner and in accordance with accepted Accounting Standards and defined corporate policies.

This is a great career opportunity for a graduate or undergraduate accountant looking for their first corporate role to lay a strong foundation for their future careers. There will be exposure to a wide range of commercial and financial disciplines (including international reporting into a Global Head Office) so would serve as a strong first step career choice into a dynamic team with a great learning culture.


· Assist in month end preparation and processing of journals

· Analyse national overhead costs explain any differences to the Budget and Forecast

· Preparation and reconciliation of General Ledger balance sheet accounts

· Maintenance the expense management system, review of transactions and reconciliation to General Ledger 

· Completion of monthly workflows in Hyperion 

· Meeting reporting and lodgement deadlines

· Maintenance the IFRS 16 database

· Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts and administration of the ABL facility

· Maintenance of bank guarantee register

· Preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statement

· Preparation of Australian Bureau of Statistics returns

· Assist in the preparation of Fringe Benefit Tax Return

· Provide information to the Finance team and support to branch and regional teams


· Engage in company performance review processes

· Completion of company required training

· Demonstration of behaviour in accordance with company values

· Use of professional verbal and written communication 

· Use of effective interpersonal skills in working with all staff to build successful working relationships

· Actively support Ausco Modular to embrace change, sustainable growth and continuous improvement


· Comply with all HSE directions and life saving rules

· Report any incident/hazard that will or has the potential to cause harm in the workplace

· Apply due care of the environment, health and safety of yourself and others

· Use plant and equipment properly and not interfere with a device provided for the protection of the environment, health and safety of people

· Present fit for work

· Comply with inherent role requirements as outlined in any applicable job dictionary relevant to the position.


· Manage resources in the most cost efficient manner.

· Ensure that revenue and expenditure accord with agreed budgets.


· Compliance with legislative requirements, delegations of authorities, company policies, procedures and management systems

· Preparation of documents in accordance with company templates, procedures and processes

· Maintain and adhere to confidentiality requirements


Minimum required qualifications

· Graduate or near graduate completion

· Desire to progressively work towards a CPA or CA qualification.

Minimum Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour)

· Some previous corporate experience will be looked at favourably, but it is not essential

· Computer literacy (Excel advanced / Word, ERP systems)

· Effective communication skills

· High level of accuracy / attention to detail

· Self-motivated

· Strong desire to learn and gain exposure to core financial and commercial disciplines

Preferred Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour)

· ERP system experience will be helpful, but it is not a mandatory requirement.
