Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a purpose-driven organisation while contributing to meaningful change. As an intern, you will play a key role in amplifying our message and helping to raise awareness about childhood trauma and the work we do to support affected communities. This organisation will assist with vocational placements to further your study. Please note this is not a paid position, however, this does have the potential to extend into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Assist in creating, curating, and scheduling content across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content, including graphics, blog posts, videos, and newsletters, that aligns with our mission and resonates with our audience.
  • Campaign Support: Help plan, design and execute marketing campaigns that highlight our programs, events, and key initiatives.
  • Analytics: Monitor and report on the performance of social media posts and campaigns, using insights to optimise future content.
  • Community Engagement: Interact with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new ideas to enhance our online presence and outreach efforts.
