Graduate Information and Communications Technology Business Analyst 

This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in the NQA Group and to become part of the dynamic company responsible for the management and operations of Cairns and Mackay Airports.

Required for an immediate start, a fantastic opportunity exists for a graduate to join the experienced and knowledgeable ICT team at Cairns Airport, to assist providing support to the staff, customers and contractors of the NQA Group.

This role is suited to a recent (or soon to be) graduate, keen to advance and develop their career in a corporate ICT environment. 

The purpose of the Graduate ICT Business Analyst role is to assist with the provision of business analysis and system management for Cairns and Mackay airports information systems including evaluations, installations, documentation, upgrades, maintenance, configuration, support, and issue resolution. Assist with the development and maintaining of data warehouse, business intelligence platforms and niche business applications; and  with support and direction combine creativity with technical skills to arrive at the best (efficient and effective) overall solution; and provide support to the our company, contractors, and airport stakeholder’s usage of Cairns and Mackay airport systems.

We are looking for a graduate (or soon to be) with: 

  • Diploma or degree qualifications in Information Communication Technology or a related discipline 
  • Previous experience with: 
    • Microsoft desktop products, and operating systems
    • End user documentation and training
    • Microsoft SQL Server including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL
    • Microsoft Power BI, excel pivot
    • Contemporary programming and scripting languages
  • High level interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisational, time, task and priority management.
  • Advocate for teamwork, collaboration and customer service

This position is on a full time permanent basis.
