Graduate Database Developer


Capital Transport is a leading supplier of transport and logistics services across Australia. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Database Developer to join our IT Department located in Clayton.

This role will be working within a project team responsible for enhancing our existing software platforms, as well as partnering with internal and external stakeholders across Australia to deliver bespoke solutions for customers.  The successful candidate will be a critical thinker and problem solver, who provides solutions and recommendations to problems and opportunities.

This role will involve:

  • Reporting to the head of Software Development
  • Providing technical assistance on our current suite of applications
  • Identifying key areas of improvement within our technical platform
  • Creating modern agile solutions within our development framework

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Servers gained from university degree/projects
  • Basic programming knowledge, ideally C# but other high level programming languages will also be considered
  • Exposure to web-based frameworks (React, Vue.JS, Bootstrap)
  • Basic knowledge of PowerBI is also highly desirable
