Statistical Internship Program

The internships, which are practical work-placement programs designed to provide the intern with informative and professional industrial telecommunication experience ​with the aim of providing industry specific opportunities is to enable the intern to develop skills that will enhance their prospects of gaining meaningful employment, building the student’s career and starting their future.


Statisticians can find and solve answers to everyday problems in various fields; Applying the same pattern of mathematics to the greater global scale and contribute to solving major issue. In businesses small or large, private or public, the work of statisticians in creating surveys and experiments plays an impactful role to fields such as medicine, marketing, insurance, education and finance.

Through the opportunity of securing an internship in this field, students will gain a stronger understanding in deciphering facts based on mathematical concepts. The internship placement can provide students valuable knowledge and insightful industrial training through the guidance and resources host organisation.

It is key to apply engineering concepts and integrating university learning into a workplace environment. Students could experience and be exposed to a safe workplace that allows them to integrate their university learnings:
