Council is seeking an Asset Officer – Community Facilities for an 18 month Fixed Term Full Time Contract from January 2023 to June 2024   35 hour week with a variable day off each month $64,882.48 to $75,263.76 + 10.5% Superannuation ​Position re-advertised - previous applicants need not reapply •Lovely Southern Highlands location •Great team environment •Focus on Health and Well Being with flexible working conditions •Be part of our growing dynamic council Located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, 1.5 hours south-west of Sydney - Wingecarribee Shire Council is working to create and nurture a vibrant & diverse community in harmony with the region's urban, agricultural & natural environments. Opportunity Awaits The role of this position is to provide advanced administrative support for the management of Council facilities including sports grounds, community halls, parks and reserves and cemeteries. The role requires a high level of customer service and strong attention to detail to achieve the best possible outcome for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all required documentation is provided before a booking is confirmed and that each hirer has access to the required amenities. Selection Criteria: 1. Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent in computer applications, recreational studies and or asset management commensurate experience in a similar role. 2. Strong customer service skills with an ability to manage complex customer requests. 3. Demonstrated high level computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and electronic data management systems with a strong attention to detail. 4. Demonstrated experience with providing training both one-on-one and group sessions. 5. Well-developed verbal and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, decision making and the ability to manage difficult and challenging situations. 6. Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage the processing of orders and invoices and database management. 7. Demonstrated understanding of Work, Health and Safety and Risk Management including previous experience with completing and reviewing risk assessments. 8. Demonstrated ability to respond flexibility in a demanding work environment. 9. Previous experience with the organisation and setting up of events. 10.Hold a current Class C motor vehicle licence.
