Building SurveyorFull-time –OngoingPosition Number: 4517 Location: This position is primarily based in our Queanbeyan office, however, will be required to work at our other offices located in Bungendore and Braidwood. The Package: $85,658.04 - $94,654.04 gross per annum + 10.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2021). Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flex time conditions may apply. Position Overview: The position of Building Surveyor sits within the Natural and Built Character Portfolio of the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council and is responsible for protecting the natural and built environment through maintenance of an efficient and dependable approval system and building inspection service. Who we are looking for: A highly motivated Building Surveyor to make statutory planning and building related decisions associated with residential buildings and their surrounding environments, including the assessment of DA’s, CDC’s, CC’s and carrying out mandatory inspections. You will also have a minimum accreditation of Building Surveyor – restricted (class 1-10 buildings) under the Building and Development Certifiers Regulation.
