Environmental Health Officer

What you will Do:
  • Be a valuable member of the Building and Environment Team
  • Use your relevant qualification and experience to perform the regulatory functions and duties of an authorised Environmental Health Officer
  • Conduct regulatory inspections, food safety assessments, complaints investigation, referrals for development applications (contaminated sites, noise and other environmental issues) and environmental health consents.
  • Review and assess applications to ensure compliance with relevant provisions of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997, The Food Act 2003, Local Government Act and other relevant Legislation, Public Health Act, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and Council Policies.

  • Salary Range: From $76,135 - plus superannuation – Leaseback Vehicle available
  • Hours of work: Permanent full-time working 35 hours per week,
  • Fortnightly or Monthly Rostered Day Off
