It has a total area of 1,605 square kilometres with a coastline of approximately 10km. The Opportunity
Bellingen Shire Council has an exciting Capital Works delivery program to be delivered in the coming years, with over $20M in Bridge replacements, $20M in road upgrades and numerous one-of-a-kind community infrastructure projects including sports facilities in Connell Park and replacement of the iconic Urunga Boardwalk.
Working within our team of Engineers, this role is responsible for providing professional advice and input into the planning, design, development, implementation and monitoring of a range of projects.
The ideal candidate will have recently completed a Bachelor degree in Engineering that is recognised by Engineers Australia and experience using computer aided design (CAD) software. Experience in survey, civil design or civil construction would be an advantage but not necessary.
To succeed in the role, you will demonstrate high level analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills, and display a flexible approach to your work responsibilities and demonstrate initiative in your daily work practices.

Annual salary of $79,088 to $90,165 (plus super)
