The Positions (One Full Time Ongoing/One Full Time Temp) Acts as the key to the delivery of quality value-adding human resource services and will work as a true business partner to understand and support Leaders to align business objectives with employees and operational requirements. Qualifications 
  • Relevant Degree and relevant experience in Human Resources re related discipline; or less formal qualifications with substantial experience and specialist expertise in Human Resources/Industrial Relations field.
  • National Police Records Check
  • Current Drivers Licence
Experience 
  • Relevant experience working in a Human Resources environment delivering a professional service in a broad range of Human Resources functions
Tasks & responsibilities
  • Under general direction of the Senior Business Partner - Our People this position will be responsible for participating in, and where required lead projects that impact on AlburyCity and/or result in new procedures for all staff. The Our People Business Partner will foster our positive relationship with its people and have the capacity to effectively manage industrial and employee relations with more complex issues to Senior Our People Business Partner.
  • The Our People Business Partner provides proactive, accurate, and solution-focussed HR advice and support to our Leaders and our people on the interpretation and application of HR policies & procedures, awards & agreements, and employment conditions and entitlements. The position will ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, and organisational policies, procedures and HR best practice.
  • The position will be expected to work autonomously and manage a range of competing priorities, multiple assignments/tasks, maintain attention to detail and deal with sensitive issues. Organisation Relationships and their Impact. Advice and recommendations proposed by this position must be consistent with organisational needs taking into consideration business needs and operations, legislation, changing technologies, internal policies and procedures and Institute strategy and direction. This position is responsible for providing advice and guidance which may carry a level of risk and has the potential to impact on the organisation negatively should incorrect industrial or employee relations advice is provided. Situations where there is potential or identified risk will be escalated to the Senior HR Business Partner and Manager People and Development where required.
These roles will:  
  • Attract a salary of $74,823.86 to $82,254.08 p.a. + 10% Superannuation
  • Work a 35 hour week, with a fortnightly Rostered Day Off.
