Human Resource Officer (Training and Development)

Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Human Resources Team.

  • Permanent full time – 35 hours per week
  • Location- Moree

The Human Resource Officer (Training and Development) will be responsible for providing efficient implementation of training and development requirements across the organisation including maintenance of statutory training, training analysis, data capture and records, training contracts and agreements and organisational development programs.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020.

Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications: 

  • Diploma or higher-level relevant qualification, held in conjunction with significant experience in the learning and development field with a current working knowledge of vocational education and training, access to funded training, and Safe Work requirements relating to compliance training.
  • Current Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116) with proven presentation skills and advanced understanding of competency assessments.
  • Advanced understanding of the Australian Qualification Framework.
  • WH&S General Construction and Induction card.
  • Current NSW Class C Driver Licence.
  • NSW Working with Children Check Clearance.
