We're looking for a Payroll Officer who can prepare and process the fortnightly payroll in accordance with the Local Government Award, Council’s Enterprise Agreements and policies. You will also maintain employee records and provide effective communications with staff regarding payroll matters.


To be successful, you’ll need to be highly organised and extremely capable of meeting deadlines. You will take pride in your accuracy, with a high attention to detail and will be highly capable of understanding pay rates, rosters, leave entitlements, etc. You’ll have strong payroll experience, excellent ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and exceptional customer service skills.


Prior CHRIS21 and Local Government experience will be highly regarded.
