People, Policy and Planning Officer

About the Opportunity

To help us achieve this we are looking for a self-motivated individual to support the realisation of the People and Strategy Plan, through the development and improvement of policies and procedures. As a key contributor you will assist in building a great place to work as you help design, deliver, and measure the impact of organisation-wide people strategies.

You should have a relevant qualification (diploma level or higher) or significant relevant experience. This role will work closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders so you must be highly organised with strong relationship building and influencing skills as well as a desire to strive for innovation and continuous improvement.

On a typical day this role will:

  • Support the development and design of the People Strategy and People and Safety policies and procedures
  • Undertake research, analyse information and summarise findings to support decision making
  • Provide support to the Human Resource Account Managers
  • Monitor and track metrics and KPI’s to monitor the success of people related initiatives
  • Establish and maintain a partnership with key teams in the business

Remuneration and Benefits

Employment Type:  Full Time, Temporary (15 months), 35 hours per week 

Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $75,951 to $85,472 depending on skills and experience
