About the Role Reporting to the Coordinator Bushland, you will be responsible for fostering a community that cares about its bushland and waterways, understands the basic mechanisms by which it survives, and shows by actions and attitudes demonstrating the need to protect, preserve and enhance the resource. The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years Bush Regeneration experience;
• Degree in Natural Areas Restoration & Management or equivalent;
• Chemical Accreditation (AQF3) Certification;
• A current ‘Paid Worker - Working with Children Check' clearance (NSW); and
• Current and valid Class C Drivers Licence.

Salary range - From $1,465.10 to $1,611.70 per week (pro rata) + superannuation, (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate). In light of the current economic climate and increased cost of living pressures, Council is offering a $1,000 sign on bonus (pro-rata for part-time roles) to successful candidates.
