Subdivision and Development Engineers

Shellharbour City Council has multiple fantastic opportunities for experienced Subdivision and Development Engineers to be involved in the Development and Subdivision Application process.

The positions on offer are:

  • Senior Subdivision and Development Engineer; and
  • Subdivision and Development Engineer.

The roles are responsible for assessing and managing the development of new subdivisions as well as built form developments by providing professional engineering advice. The roles also include conducting development and/or subdivision assessment and inspections having regard to Councils role as Principal Certifier as well as providing advice to developers and Council staff and managing customer requests.

Senior Subdivision and Development Engineer

We offer:

  • Permanent full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time 
  • Salary up to $110,534.72 per annum (this includes a market rate allowance that may be offered to exceptional candidates)
  • Plus 10.5% superannuation
  • Fully Maintained Leaseback Vehicle (however a Vehicle Allowance may be negotiated in lieu of a vehicle)
  • Civil Liability Allowance may be offered

Subdivision and Development Engineer

We offer:

  • Salary up to $98,523.76 per annum (this includes a market rate allowance that may be offered to exceptional candidates)
  • Plus 10.5% superannuation

  • Civil Liability Allowance may be offered
