Support Officer Engineering & Design

We are currently seeking the expertise of a Support Officer to join our Infrastructure & Works Group.

About the role

The role of Support Officer Engineering & Design will provide high level administrative support to the Engineering & Design team and other departments within the Infrastructure & Works group, including the management of customer enquiries, registering of plans, preparation of spreadsheets, registering and responding to correspondence, file maintenance, record management, safe operation of office equipment as well as providing general office duties.

Further, the Support Officer will ensure the ongoing maintenance of Council‘s corporate systems and databases and provide administrative support to the design, traffic and subdivision and development teams as well as support other departments within the Infrastructure & Works group as required.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have a Certificate III in Business Administration or related discipline, coupled with contemporary industry knowledge and demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative support and customer service within a multi-disciplinary environment.

You will possess advanced administrative, general office and computer capabilities and will display excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Most importantly, you will have a customer-centric approach and the ability to work well in a team and contribute to achieving team goals.

Benefits

This is a permanent full-time position, with a salary range between $60,077 up to $66,685 per year based on demonstrated competencies + 10.5% superannuation.
