And you’ve found it at Willoughby City Council About the role The Traffic and Transport Team is responsible for the management of road safety, traffic, public and active transport mobility and parking management in the road transport system under the care and control of Willoughby City Council. The Team delivers services and products that support the day-to-day operation of the road transport system, develops and delivers operation and infrastructure plans and projects, facilitates the safe and effective integration of land use development into the road transport system and responds to stakeholder, community and transport user issues. The purpose of this positon is to ensure Council maximises the safety, efficiency and reliability of all active and public transport users on our multimodal road and pathway networks via our Transport and Travel Demand Management Plans. Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in transport system design, delivery and operation
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Austroads Guidelines and TfNSW policies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and use of best practice project management techniques.
  • Class C Drivers Licence
