The Role

Reporting to the Manager Waste Management, you will be responsible for Project Management of all tender and contracts associated with Waste Management and ensure environmental monitoring programs for waste management activities are carried out in accordance with EPA licence provisions, within the Waste Management Branch.  The role will undertake Contract / Project management under Cell 6 and associated work to maintain future waste disposal for the community.

About you

We are looking for a person who is a team player with good supervisory skills, co-ordination and motivation skills. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to meet critical time schedules, ability to present concise and accurate reports and an ability to make decisions and judgements with minimal supervision.

You must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil), Waste Management, or equivalent qualification or demonstrated experience in the waste management industry
  • Demonstrated understanding and implementing compliance with all operational and environment al legislation within waste management
  • WorkCover WHS General induction for Construction Work in NSW
  • Class C Drivers Licence
