What our people say:
I AM GRABBING OPPORTUNITIES
CommBank is a really vibrant place to work. I was a summer intern and was offered a graduate role at the end of my internship. I was relieved to be able to complete my final year of uni knowing that I already had a graduate position secured.
In my short time with CommBank, I’ve been exposed to so many different areas. I’m learning as much as I can and have been inspired by senior leaders. I honestly haven’t met a person who isn’t willing to help me no matter how busy they are.
I plan on grabbing every opportunity; I’m already thinking of doing a masters in HR once I finish the program and decide which area of HR I want to specialise in. Leena, Graduate.
I AM LISTENED TO
As a graduate, my ideas have been listened to and embraced. Working in a global business is really exciting and means I've made connections with colleagues around the world – I was even given the opportunity to spend six months in our London office working in the Global Equities team. Joanna, Graduate.
I AM MAKING CONNECTIONS
The program was great. It gives you confidence that you will make the right choice when choosing a permanent role in the bank. I specifically enjoyed being placed on a project to develop a new to market client offering which was truly innovative. Aside from rapid up-skilling that takes place, the program provided me with a huge range of contacts who I can still turn to for advice for today. Working with incredibly talented and friendly people makes Commonwealth Bank a great place to work. Julian, Graduate.
I AM CONSTANTLY LEARNING
I recently celebrated my 10th anniversary with CommBank. I started my career as a graduate and now work as an Executive Manager within the Operations and Sales Strategy team.
I’ve had the opportunity to undertake a lot of formal and informal training thanks to CommBank. I completed a postgraduate degree in Applied Finance and I’m now studying an MBA. I’m excited about my future with CommBank and I look forward to further developing my skills and my career. Tu, an Executive Manager.
