The 11-week IBCM Summer Analyst Program provides excellent exposure to the financial services industry.
Our Summer Analyst work on live deals and gain hands-on experience. As a Summer Analyst you could expect to:
- Analyze companies using financial modeling and valuation techniques,
- Examine the impact of a transaction on a client’s capital structure, and
- Think about the strategy behind a merger or acquisition.
We are passionate about your development and will give you regular feedback and have formal check-in points to review your progress. At the end of the Summer, graduate offers are made to interns who we believe will be successful as full-time analysts within the Credit Suisse IBCM team.
Positions are available in Sydney and Melbourne.
We will provide you with the training you need to grow your skills and start your career in the fast-lane. Your first week is dedicated to orientation and completing our training program crafted specifically for IBCM. During the program we will have sessions with senior bankers to help you learn from experienced professionals about innovative deals that are transforming today's corporate landscape. You'll grow your skills, while putting your career on a fast track.
You will be matched with a buddy who will provide advice and mentorship throughout the program and will have opportunities to participate in social, networking and mentoring events that will also help you understand our Equities and Private Banking businesses.
To be eligible for this program you need to be in your penultimate year of an undergraduate or Master’s program, graduating between June and December 2022, and have the right to work in Australia – Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australia permanent resident.

How To Apply
You will need to complete an application on the Credit Suisse website for consideration.
Eligible candidates will be asked to take online numerical and verbal reasoning tests as part of your application. Please complete the tests in 2 days. It should take you no more than 40 minutes to do the tests. We will only review the rest of the application once you have completed this step and test scores are submitted successfully.
