Department of Human Services

Your unlimited opportunities start here in legal

If you can see yourself working in commercial law, employment law, litigation, privacy or business transformation, we can get you started.

We give you lots of opportunities to use the skills and knowledge you gained at university. During our 10 month program you’ll be able to specialise in and develop your legal skills.

Graduates with a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and/or a Juris Doctor are most suited to this pathway.

You will need a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 or above to apply for the legal discipline. If your WAM is below 60 you can apply for either the:

  • generalist pathway
  • another professional pathway if you have the appropriate degree.
