Eligibility
To be eligible for the 2025 Graduate Program you must:
· have completed a university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) from a recognised tertiary institution within the last 3 years. This means to be eligible for the 2025 cohort, you must have completed your bachelor’s degree (or higher) prior to commencing.
· have your qualification officially recognised if from an overseas institution. You will be required to provide this as part of your submission.
· be an Australian Citizen or reside in Australia and have permission, under a law of the Commonwealth, to work in Australia.
Our Graduate Program timeline
17 February 2025
Our Graduate Program starts today with:
- local induction
- meet the team
- setting up your systems access
- mandatory training
- connecting with your Grad Buddy.
18 February 2025
You will attend an online meeting with members of the graduate team and your branch coordinators. During the meeting, you will also gain insight into the tools we for collaboration.
Your 6-month probation begins today.
Your supervisor will inform you about the work, how you can contribute to the team, and what you will learn. There will be several check-ins over the next 6 months.
March 2025
You will meet with your cohort in Brisbane for a week to learn about the business and our work methods, and to get to know each other.
August 2025
You will receive feedback on your strengths and areas for improvement. You may rotate to a different team or stay to strengthen your skills.
Now that your probation period has ended, your performance and development plan will replace probation.
August 2025
You will enhance your professional skills, including Cultural Intelligence, resilience, negotiation skills, and ethical decision-making, during face-to-face sessions in Brisbane.
August 2025
Performance and Development Plan
We will update your plan to reflect what you have learned and your ongoing technical development. You may have the opportunity to rotate to a different team or remain where you are to strengthen your skills.
Rotation schedules are flexible. For example, your placements may be:
- 1 x 12 months, then 2 x 6 month, or
- 3 x 8 month, or
- 4 x 6 months
You can discussions your rotation with your supervisor.
October 2025
You will have the opportunity to act as a buddy for the incoming cohort, sharing your tips and tricks on settling into the department.
February 2026
We will update your performance and development plan to reflect what you have learned and your ongoing technical development. You may have the option to rotate to a different team or stay to strengthen your skills.
September 2026
You will enhance your professional skills, including Cultural Intelligence, Communication, and Accessibility, through face-to-face sessions in Brisbane.
February 2027
You have graduated from the our Graduate Program. You have developed a strong network across the organisation, refined your technical skills, and gained valuable professional knowledge. You can share your experience in the program.
