IT Support Officer - Traineeship - Immediate Start

Fullerton Health Australia is offering an exciting opportunity to commence your working career with an IT Traineeship.

Our company is made up of a number of established businesses that have been delivering health services to more than 5 million people over the last 20 years, including leading occupational healthcare provider Jobfit Health Group, Fullerton Health Medical Centres, Northcare Physio, and Baseline Group.

Reporting to the National IT Systems Administrator,  the traineeship will challenge your IT skills whilst you gain high exposure to IT within the healthcare sector, and learning a vast array of skills that could be adopted to any IT support role. 

The position is full-time, 38 hours per week, which includes time for study and must be based in Wayville, SA.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Participating in both formal and in-formal learning.
  • Actioning Help desk support requests remotely or on-site.
  • Build and provision end user devices such as workstations/mobile devices.
  • Assistance in deployment and maintenance of telephony endpoints.
  • Participating in project preparation and assisting staff during rollout phases.
  • Routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updating and some testing.
  • Ability to address and resolve arising issues in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with IT lifecycle of infrastructure.
  • Work within a tight knit team working towards a common goal.

  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of a Help Desk ticketing system.
  • A good understanding of IT hardware, software and networking components.
  • An understanding of other network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) and peripherals.
  • Some travel is required to company locations which is reimbursed.
