Job Description
In this Sales Development Representative job, you will directly report to the Head of Sales. Your mission is to build and manage the new sales pipeline through proactive outreach to prospective clients, effective response to inbound leads, and active prospecting to identify appropriate buyers.
This is a junior role perfect for a recent graduate who is driven and ideally with some sales experience under their belt.

Key Responsibilities
The New Business Executive can expect the following duties, but not limited to:
  • Responding to inbound enquiries from marketing campaigns
  • Outbound calling and emailing to build a sales pipeline
  • Qualify leads and set up introductory meetings via telephone; coordinate calendars with different time zones, and send out calendar invites
  • Conduct research within targeted accounts to identify key stakeholders and critical account information prior to prospecting calls & meetings
  • Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive activities & use these to identify opportunities in the market
  • Manage all sales activity in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Track social networks effectively to seek opportunities & leads

Job Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Some proven experience in a sales environment (this can be an internship up to 2 years)
  • Relentless drive
  • A team player with effective collaboration skills
  • A positive, self-starter attitude, desire to learn new skills and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity
  • Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and an absolute focus on quality of work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and work under pressure
  • Excellent management of time to handle various projects simultaneously
  • Computer skills savvy (any previous understanding of Client Relationship Management systems is a plus)
