Job description

In this Sales Development Representative role in Sydney, this junior position will be critical to the growth of the software business across Asia Pacific & Japan. The junior sales executive must be ambitious and will be responsible for driving new business – identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and maintaining a healthy pipeline. It’s an opportunity to utilise your research & communication skills through inbound & outbound lead generation.

Job responsibilities
In this Sales Representative job in Sydney, you can expect the following duties, but not limited to:
  • Generate new business opportunities and schedule qualified meetings & product demos
  • Provide sales support for the field sales team
  • Collaborate with the team to develop market strategies for long-term success
  • Build prospects lists & execute outreach processes (via email, phone, social media etc)
  • Create effective email campaigns through research
  • Manage CRM effectively
  • Measure & provide feedback on the effectiveness of outbound campaigns
  • Support and drive attendance to marketing events & tradeshows
Please note that there will be hands-on training throughout the onboarding process and so this role really requires the right positive & driven mindset to learn and exceed targets.

Job requirements
  • Educated to degree level
  • Fantastic phone presence and natural flair with clients
  • Any sales experience is a bonus
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Technical aptitude with a passion to understand new technologies
  • Understanding of Social Media for business (Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred
  • Competitive attitude with a drive to exceed targets
  • Demonstrated strong leadership abilities
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong time management, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Analytical in nature with strong attention to detail
