Job description
In this HR Assistant job, you will experience first-hand how a high-growth HealthTech startup works internally and be exposed to all areas of the business. The HR Assistant will support the Australia Expansion lead on growth strategies & scaling the team to support the next exciting stage of growth across Australia. You will ensure the team are working at their best so they can provide quality services to the people they serve. It will be an exciting mix of engaging with the internal team & driving the product and mission with new candidates.

Key responsibilities
In this HR role, you can expect the following duties – but certainly not limited to:
  • Source candidates and help shape the growing team
  • Schedule interviews for the Melbourne office (potentially future offices in Australia too)
  • Analyse candidate pipeline & trends to identify areas of opportunities – share findings with the team
  • Help with staff onboarding & offboarding where required
  • Organise events to foster team communication
  • HR operations – including payroll & compliance with HR regulations
  • Improve HR processes where required
Job requirements
  • Some relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive working attitude & a strong team player
  • Fast learner and process-driven
  • Passion for social enterprises and driven by the core mission
  • Keen to make a huge impact in a fast-growing startup!
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office and adopting software tools
  • Confident & concise communicator
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders
  • Handle information with discretion and professionalism
