About the role

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to rotate throughout our business providing a diverse experience and exposure to mechanical projects happening in both open cut and underground mining using engineering principles and compliant with relevant codes, standards and regulations. Working together with a highly skilled team to solve complex problems, you will be assisting with designing, developing, and implementing timely and cost-effective equipment modifications through mathematical modelling to improve efficiency, reliability and safety. A typical day will involve working with leaders in their fields, undertaking plant checks and fault finding to using design software and proposing plant improvement projects you will be assisting with designing, developing, and implementing timely and cost-effective equipment modifications through mathematical modelling to improve efficiency, reliability and safety.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A Bachelor of Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or similar
  • Have graduated from university within the last 2 years
