Graduate/Junior Accountant - Immediate Start

Our accounting practice, located in West Perth (WA) is looking for motivated graduate/junior accountants to join our team and support us in continuing to deliver quality accounting and taxation services to clients operating in a range of industries. 

ABOUT THE ROLES

Duties will be varied and include:

• Undertaking accounting tasks including financial data processing, journal preparation and account reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS
• Preparation of annual financial statements and other financial reports
• Assisting with the preparation of annual tax returns
• Assist with lodgment of applications for ABNs, business name applications, company incorporations etc. for clients as required

You will be commencing your final year of university study or degree qualified in Commerce/Accounting/Taxation and be looking to undertake CA/CPA studies in the future. Exposure to Xero, and/or MYOB software would be an advantage, but not essential.

Experience is not required, however we do require a candidate who is well spoken, uses initiative and is great with time management. You must also be reliable, efficient, trustworthy and have a keen eye for detail. And very importantly, you will have a service-oriented mindset - even though we deal with numbers every day, accounting is still a people business, and building strong relationships with clients is key to success.
