GRADUATE REGISTERED MIDWIFERY PROGRAM 2022
- Preceptorship and on site educator support
- Hospital orientation, orientation to maternity unit and supernumerary shifts with each rotation.
The 10 month New Graduate program offers rotations through the Birthing Suite, Maternity Ward and the Special Care Nursery. You will be given supernumerary shifts at the commencement of each rotation into a new area, supported by onsite Clinical Maternity Educators. Our aim is to provide a year of consolidation of your clinical skills.
Under the guidance of supportive and experienced staff, in a welcoming environment. You will be offered a variety of clinical experiences enabling growth and development.
North Park Private Hospital is a leading private hospital in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, situated in Bundoora. The Maternity unit offers 5 birthing suites, 15 private ward beds and a level 3 Special Care Nursery.
This program will commence on 7th February 2022, and on completion you will receive a Certiﬁcate of graduation from the program, plus ongoing opportunities for career advancement.
Selection criteria; Essential:
- Current enrolment in Bachelor of Midwifery program with registration prior to commencement on 7thFebruary 2022.
- Display good written and oral communication skills On-going commitment to professional development Must be able to work a 7-day rotating roster
