 The Role
Multiple positions are available for creative, enthusiastic, lateral thinkers with backgrounds in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.

• Junior Software Engineers

• Junior Systems Administrators

As part of our team you will work at the leading edge of next-generation combat and mission systems exploration and analysis. Using your knowledge, experience and insights to help develop, build and oversee the computing, software and simulation infrastructure used for conducting research and development of Australia’s future Air and Maritime platforms.

About our Team
The Combat Management Systems Analysis group comprises an inclusive, agile, multi-disciplinary team with responsibility for developing, testing and analysing particular best-of-breed capabilities and future-systems concepts in support of key Navy, Air Force and Joint capabilities.

As the custodians of the Combat Systems Innovation Centre, a research facility that houses a range of Defence combat and mission systems, we are charged with developing, analysing and extending specific existing advanced Defence systems and exploring emerging concepts through high-fidelity modelling and simulation for use in combat simulations and future-systems development.

Working with a range of stakeholders and collaborators from across Defence and industry, our team supports S&T research, development and trials in-line with Defence stakeholder needs for a number of major Programs, including the Combat and Weapons System Enterprise, Integrated Air and Missile Defence and Airborne Early Warning & Control capability.
