Finance and Group Services provides the framework for reporting, compliance and governance within John Holland. As business partners, the information provided from reporting enables informed strategic decisions to be made regarding the operations of the business.
As a Finance Graduate, you are offered the opportunity to get a breadth of experience across Management and Financial Reporting, Asset Management, Treasury Management and Project Reporting. You could be assisting the Finance and Accounting team in maintaining financial, accounting and administration to meet procedural, statutory and corporate standards. This will involve preparing income and balance sheet statements and prepare and/or consolidate other accounting statements and reports as required. In addition, you will support the development of operating budgets using data supplied, such as actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue and expense reports.
You will also assist with prepare variance analysis on financial information and maintain records of operating performance for comparison with estimated budgets. You would also have the opportunity to rotate between Corporate Finance and Project Finance to develop a broad skillset.
