All John Holland project teams strive to improve communities through our work, and leave our cities, suburbs and towns better than we found them.
We know that communities of the future are what we make them, and John Holland is proud to lead by example to ensure we help cities and towns become more productive, sustainable, liveable and inclusive. Our Sustainability Pathway is a framework that is based on three enduring goals: Great Place to Work; Better Lives and Future Thinking. It covers all geographies, places equal emphasis on our portfolios and takes responsibility for the impact of our work. Our goals guide how the business develops and executes its activities over the next ten years and beyond - to create a more sustainable future for everyone.
We proactively identify and manage environmental risks, and we take every opportunity to use our projects to ensure the protection of local ecosystems. We will identify energy efficiency opportunities and enable better waste management to give our customers an outcome that makes communities better.
As a Sustainability & Environment Graduate you could be involved in the implementation of project environment and sustainability programs to ensure adherence with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, contractual obligations, sustainability requirements and HSE procedures. You will have the opportunity to undertake frequent surveillance on site to ensure that all environmental obligations are implemented and maintained. You will be providing advice and guidance to key project teams including design, construction, commercial, and operations in relation to sustainability requirements. You will support and champion a culture of thinking across the project and John Holland to help achieve the sustainability, environmental, social, financial and governance goals of our customers and communities.
