Technology Enablement

KPMG Canberra’s Technology Enablement team brings a unique service offering based on our understanding of the future needs of the government, the right technological solutions and the transformation that is required to deliver effective and efficient services to the public.

You’ll be working with a high-performing and diverse team, with a genuine interest in helping Federal Government and Defence clients navigate the journey and complexities of an ICT-enabled transformation, including the adoption of disruptive technologies.

We partner with our clients throughout the government transformation lifecycle, from alignment of policy intent and ICT investment, through to design and execution of the transformation and evaluation of the intended outcomes.

Technology Risk & Assurance

Our Technology Risk group has deep experience and skills to help our clients better comprehend and manage technology, cyber and information risks. By closely understanding our clients’ issues and strategies, we can design methods to manage their risks which also further their business objectives.

Our services include:

  • helping our clients with major IT investments through project risk management support 
  • identifying and managing cyber security and other technology and information risks 
  • enhancing our clients’ business resilience 
  • improving our clients’ understanding and management of risk in technology through designing and implementing effective controls over technology assets 
  • assisting our clients to meet their IT compliance and governance obligations in a way that enhances their business objectives.

Technology Strategy & Performance

Our Technology Advisory group works with clients to better align their technology capabilities with their strategic and operational objectives. We focus on the evaluation of performance, development of IT strategy and advice on IT operations, efficiencies and cost reduction.

We are not tied to particular hardware or software suppliers. This means our advice is objective and framed entirely in terms of our clients’ needs.

We also draw on KPMG’s extensive national and global resources, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to help unlock the full potential of existing and new technology investments.
