You will be part of our Technology team who are building platforms and applications, improving the way we work, connecting people and data, and designing tomorrow’s technology solutions.  

With our hands-on program, you will put your learnings to work in a global business, examining problems from every angle and building solutions. 

Designed to help you determine what career path is right for you, you will develop your skills using the latest technologies and platforms whilst building your professional network.

Ready to get started? For students studying Information Technology, we have opportunities in:  

Software Engineering 

Partner directly with business stakeholders and end users to understand requirements, design and build solutions. You will enjoy exposure to a variety of projects with diverse teams across Technology. 

Cloud and Platform Engineering 

Help build new automation tooling as well as maintain our distributed systems and platforms using industry best practices. Our teams are 100% cloud, spanning across both AWS and Google Cloud. 

Cyber Security 

Play a vital role working with cyber defense analysts, incident responders, threat researchers, security architects and engineers to achieve the mission of protecting Macquarie’s businesses from systemic cyber threats.  

Data and Business Analytics 

Be involved in Macquarie’s data and regulatory reporting strategy, delivering digital transformation and help teams gain valuable insight from data. Be part of our data journey, while addressing some of the most complex problems faced by our industry. 

UX/ UI Design 

Work to transform digital products and tackle complex challenges by placing the user experience at the heart of everything you do. From discovery to delivery, you will make a real difference to the lives of our customers. 

Customer and Technology Support 

Help our businesses thrive by enabling our people and teams to unlock the capability of technology solutions, driving collaboration, innovation, and productivity. Be in a lively team environment that is customer facing and provide both walk-up style and remote based support for technology-based queries.
