Graduate Accountant - Immediate Start

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join one of our busy accounting (BizTax) teams as a Graduate Accountant. You will ideally come to us with some work experience and have a passion and willingness to learn. You will be an organised individual with strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills being able to think outside the box. In return you will have the opportunity to develop professionally, grow personally and join our social working environment.

The Role will involve

  • Completion of Special Purpose Financial Accounts, Business Activity Statements and Income Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals
  • Liaising with third parties and the ATO on behalf of clients
  • Collaborating with peers and senior colleagues
  • Accurately completing workpapers
  • Administration of documents: prepare and lodge corporate documents

What you will need to succeed

  • Be degree qualified
  • Ideally 1-2 years of experience in an accounting firm
  • An eagerness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Xero experience would be advantageous
