Nereids Aquatic Coaching is fast growing and vibrant startup that offers premium private swimming lessons at clients' home pools across Sydney Metropolitan area.

We are looking for a bright and eager professional who is seeking a unique opportunity and is excited to be a part of our mission to decreasing the percentage of drownings, help our students to overcome their fear of water and assist them to accomplish their goals faster than any other swim school.

The Position
We are looking for highly organised, focused and fast-learning personal assistant to support our passionate and innovative Founder. You will be reporting directly to the Founder and must enjoy working within a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment where no day is the same.

You will become the right hand of the leadership team you support. This role is fantastic for you if you are able to think independently, highly motivated, quick-moving, sharp thinking and you have exceptional ability of handling day-to-day administrative activities and providing executive support.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise excellent judgement in a diversity of situations and prioritise wisely based on common sense.

Please note: This role is fast paced especially during high season (Sep-Apr) - the ideal candidate will embrace the pace and learn to work with some level of ambiguity.

  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Open, screen, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, make appointments, and provide other general assistance as required
  • Perform confidential and complex administrative duties involving Excel, Word and various software
  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail, adapt to daily schedules and routines, and focus on efficiency without sacrificing quality
  • Provide project management and maintain momentum on high-priority projects, including but not limited to, staffing and resource planning, recruitment process, and strategy development for efficiencies among teams
  • Provide general support for various departments including but not limited to, Quality Assurance, Sales and HR
  • Monitor and assess performance of other employees
  • Perform various office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, preparing invoices, and management of database systems
  • Stay up to date on the latest company policies and resources to educate the team
  • Attend meetings to record minutes
  • Supervise and train other staff and arrange for employee training by scheduling training or organizing training material
  • Coordinate with our team to ensure things are "done" as needed (tasks, projects, etc.)
