Our Graduate Program

Our Australian Graduate Program offers a diverse and unique learning journey with the ability to further enhance your passion for mining across our Telfer, Cadia, Melbourne and Perth Offices where our graduates gain experience over a two-year period and will be required to rotate between sites.

As a graduate, you will commence the program in January 2023 and be required to rotate after 12 months gaining experience across all our Australian operations. Please note that Some disciplines may require a rotation to our Corporate Head Office in Melbourne, Victoria, or other regional areas within Australia

Working as part of a team, you’ll participate in exciting real-life projects with leading professionals dedicated to the safe exploration, mining and production of gold that gives you invaluable hands-on professional experience and development. 

Whilst we support you and guide you through your Graduate Program expect to be challenged, motivated, and inspired to be your best. We are proud of our community of like-minded leaders who value early career development and help you apply what you’ve learned at university with on-the-job experience using best practice and leading-edge technology.

Who we are looking for?

Newcrest graduates are resourceful, resilient, flexible and share our values and commitment to safety.

We are seeking applications from recent, or soon-to-be graduates (course completion in either 2020, 2021 or 2022) with a tertiary qualification that enables them to work in one of the following disciplines:

• Operational Mining Automation & Robotics
• IT & Digital Platforms - Data Science
