NSW Government

The NSW Government is committed to building diversity in a world-leading public service. We aim to have 5.6% of government sector roles held by people with disability by 2025.

By working in the NSW public service you are joining a workforce that encourages full participation from people with disability. We also want to retain staff that may acquire disability during their time working for the NSW public sector.

We are working to improve workforce culture across the sector by:

  • building employee networks
  • promoting flexible working on an “if not, why not” basis
  • raising awareness of the contribution people with disability make to our workforce.

These initiatives aim to improve workplace culture, remove barriers and support the full and meaningful participation of people with disability at work.

If you require an adjustment in the recruitment and assessment process, please tell us when applying for a role. You can do this at any stage during the Graduate Program application process by contacting to Akanksha Joshi at Peter Berry Consultancy on 02 8918 0888, or email [email protected].
