About the Chemical Engineering Graduate opportunities
As a Graduate Engineer you will work in a growing Engineering Operations team with the ability to have tangible impact on our day-to-day operations. Some of your responsibilities may include:
Chemical / Process Engineers:
Support our sites manufacturing capabilities
Problem solving and analysis on processes
Recommendations for process improvements or design changes
Monitor and investigate site safety systems
Participate in major outages / shut downs
Study Background
As a Graduate Chemical Engineer, you will be studying or have graduated from Chemical or Process Engineering.
You will have a Bachelor, Post Graduate or Master’s degree in the above disciplines or related fields and have completed your education in 2023 or due to be completed in 2024.
In addition, you will have full working rights in Australia (with no restrictions) and a current, valid driving licence.
Locations
Our 2025 Chemical Engineering Graduate opportunities will be based at either our Botany (Sydney) or Gladstone sites. For your 2026 rotation, your location options may also include Newcastle, Lockyer Valley (Toowoomba) and Melbourne.
Orica offers domestic relocation assistance for those candidates who require relocation to these areas, along with an attractive salary package and benefits.
