About the Program

The Women in Logistics (WILpower) Engineering Graduate Program is a two-year structured engagement which endeavours to provide talented women with the skills required to build a successful career within the stevedoring and container logistics industry.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will rotate through key engineering roles critical for keeping Patrick running 24/7, 365 days a year. Rotations will include exposure to the following key functions across the Patrick Engineering team: 

  • Shift Maintenance
  • Maintenance Planning
  • Reliability and/or Automation Engineering 
  • Project Engineering

To support your hands-on experience, you will have the opportunity to undertake additional study to further your career and development. This is designed to focus on delivering key knowledge of the industry, develop your critical and analytical skills, and educate you around the requisite technical knowledge and best practice for strategic leadership and management.

Upon completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to be considered for maintenance and/or project engineering roles, or to transition into operations roles within the organisation.

About Your Experience

We are looking for women that are interested in pursuing a career in Engineering within Patrick. To be considered for this opportunity you should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or pursuing a degree (3rd year student or higher) in any discipline of Engineering recognised in Australia. 
  • Excellent time management and prioritising skills 
  • Dependable mature minded individual that is a good proactive team player.
  • Good technical problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities 

Additionally, to be considered for this role you will need to have full rights to work in Australia and the ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card.
