Graduate Accountant (Business Services & Tax)

We are currently working with a top 100 accounting firm based in Sydney, Australia, who is looking for a graduate accountant to join their business services and tax division. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual who wants to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries and deliver high-quality services and solutions.

Responsibilities

As a graduate accountant, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that provides a range of services to their clients, including:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS and other compliance work
• Assistance with tax planning, business structuring, budgeting and forecasting
• Research and analysis of tax legislation and accounting standards
• Liaison with clients, ATO and other external parties
• Participation in internal and external training and development programs

Desired Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting OR nearing completion of your bachelor's degree in accounting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive and proactive attitude
