Role Description

Quinbrook is seeking an outstanding candidate for a 12-week Graduate Program, transitioning into a full time Analyst role. This is a highly visible role for someone early in their career with an outstanding opportunity to add value and take on additional responsibilities commensurate with personal and professional growth over time. This position is located on the Gold Coast, Australia.

Analysts at Quinbrook evaluate innovative investments that will generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for the firm’s investors and facilitate the world’s transition to Net Zero. They support the firm’s mid and senior level investment professionals across all global offices and work on all facets of the investment process including due diligence and analysis, underwriting and execution, monitoring and reporting, and fundraising. 

Responsibilities include:

  • supporting due diligence and sensitivity analysis on new potential investments 
  • developing detailed financial models pertaining to financing, acquisitions, and operations
  • monitoring the financial results of the portfolio and proposing new solutions
  • market research, investor reporting, participation in sale transactions and more

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field, including finance, economics, environmental science, climate finance, engineering, or related
  • One to three years of experience in a highly analytical, investments-focused role with exposure to renewable energy or power sector investing, IPP, clean energy technology or unlisted      infrastructure a plus
  • Financial modelling capability
  • Natural intellectual curiosity and interest in exposure to broader energy transition opportunities and digitalisation
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with detail-oriented commitment to a high-quality work product
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial individual who can function independently and as part of a highly      collaborative a team who exhibits initiative and a demonstrated desire to learn
