About the Graduate Program

PHASE 1: DEVELOP YOUR BUSINESS AND SALESFORCE SKILLS

As a Futureforce graduate, you will have the opportunity to skill-up and advance your learning via our tailored enablement pathways.

In month one, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our products, technologies and business
  • Learn critical professional skills you’ll need to be successful in your role
  • Build your network with your graduate cohort

From month two, you will go through a brief transition where you will:

  • Continue building your practical skills and expertise through shadowing and supporting the Professional Services Team to deliver projects
  • Take on your own work within team remit
  • Deliver impact through program activities and special projects

  • Industry recognised Salesforce Certifications
  • Structured learning calendar with sessions & hands-on workshops led by experienced Salesforce professionals and program alumni

PHASE 2: EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

From month three onwards, you will:

  • Make valuable contributions to our customers while working on customer facing activities
  • Carry your own responsibilities as a member of the Professional Services team
  • Engage cross-functionally to drive breadth of competencies

Key experiences and programs in this phase:

  • Live customer engagements and meetings
  • Accountability to real-world team metrics and goals
  • Multi-functional shadowing or special projects
  • Billable engagement on customer facing projects as a junior services professional

Who are we looking for?

Our Salesforce Professional Services team deliver solutions that transform our customers’ businesses and their customers’ experiences. Successful applicants will be in: 

Technical Consulting

Salesforce Technical Consultants work with customers and partners to discover, design, configure and deploy Salesforce Platform solutions. This role primarily involves delivering business solutions using a combination of configuration and coding leveraging modern web standards and tools including JavaScript, CSS, and Apex (Salesforce’s Java-like language).

The ideal technical consultant will go on a journey to become a thought leader in technical aspects of customer and partner engagements that lead to the successful delivery of enterprise solutions, including integrations leveraging middleware tools and platforms. Consultants will deliver technical solutions to meet the customer’s business and technical requirements. Consultants will lead the evaluation of options and subsequent presentation and education of the customer/partner. They will also identify and proactively manage risk areas and commit to seeing issues through to complete resolution.

YOUR IMPACT: Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full application life cycle - design, development, testing and deployment
  • Interact with customers, project teams and other stakeholders to ensure customer success
  • Work with business stakeholders to uncover and analyse requirements to ensure business objectives are met
  • Design, configure, develop and integrate Salesforce apps and components using modern web standards and tools
  • Develop proofs of concept to demonstrate capability fit and integration approaches
  • Validate application code using unit tests, security tests and profiling tools
  • Assist in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments
  • Produce project documentation, including functional and technical designs and end-user guides
  • Travel is infrequent, varying with consultant preference and client requirements
